I started sewing around 2015, first making carnival costumes and later upcycling old clothes. Over time, I also created dresses for special occasions like weddings or Christmas. I usually adapted patterns from existing garments and added my own touches. This is only a small collection of some of my early projects. I must say that most of these garments are not worn often anymore because they don’t fit perfectly or I don’t like the look of them anymore. But I guess that’s normal if you learn a craft through trial and error.
Since then I’ve learned a lot about sewing, like choosing the right fabric and measurements as well as some useful sewing techniques.
