In an tufting class at my university,  offered in collaboration with Atelier Fleck, I had the chance to make my own rug with a tufting machine. That went way faster than expected. I just drew more or less random lines onto the fabric and then filled in the shapes with yarn. To give it a high-quality look, I built a wooden frame around it.

I know this project has nothing to do with sewing, but I wanted to include it in this collection anyway because it makes me happy every day when I see it in my kitchen.
